Employment Status

Private	All practitioners employed in private practice (clinical or otherwise), those who consult to or who are employed by private hospitals, private industry or other non-government groups.
Private Restricted	As for “private”, practising less than 16 hours per week.
Public	All persons employed in public instrumentalities including the Public Health Services, Education, TAFE, Universities, Corrective Services, Defence etc., at a Commonwealth, State or Local Government level (including up to 5 hours private work per week).
Public Restricted	As for “public”, practising less than 16 hours per week.

Important Note:

Practitioners who have a dual qualification as a Dietitian/Exercise Physiologist or/a Dietitian/Diabetes Educator can ONLY select a minimum Limit of Indemnity of $5Million.
