Our legal team are experienced in defending osteopaths and can provide immediate and ongoing advice on how best to handle claims, or potential claims. Through a combination of legal expertise and consultation with the AOA and osteopathic peers, we look to achieve the best outcomes for osteopaths.

The AOA / Guild Risk Management Advisory Committee meet regularly to identify emerging issues and risks in the osteopathic profession. The Committee looks at opportunities to raise awareness and improve the management of risk in osteopathic practice. The Committee is comprised of osteopaths with expertise in various fields of practice, the AOA, and Guild’s risk management specialists, underwriting and lawyers.
